The ocean is a great source of joy for me – the vast expanse of water is very calming.
Here’s a fun fact about the ocean:
“Voyaging across the big oceans, sperm whales take rest breaks in the ocean. They rest in pods – noses down and tails up. They stay motionless like this for about 15 minutes before moving on.”
Wow! I’d need a bigger rest than that! Well done whales.

Keep a look out this week as I will be sharing my favourite artworks with you. π

Now, that is indeed a fun fact about sperm whales! π³ I did not know that. I’d be passed out by the 5 minute mark in that position Sandra! LOL π π π€£

Haha, and from all that swimming. Much respect for the ocean and its inhabitants! π³π

Girl, I give you a high-five on that one! ππΌ Mad respect for the oceanic community, because marine life is beyond our comprehension. It’s easier for ocean inhabitants to study us instead of the other way around. π There is so much mystery and intrigue in the life and times of oceanography. I simply can’t begin to imagine, just based on my common, limited knowledge of the worldwide underwater world what an amazing network they must have. Thanks so much for sharing Sandra! ππ½ Have a lovely week!

I have to admit it looks restful, but like you, I would need a much longer rest.
