Eddie The Emu (video)

Eddie The Emu | Sandra Burns ART

This painting is Eddie The Emu, and this short video shows how my painting came together.

From my RUOK? series, Eddie is keeping an eye on you, checking you are okay.

Eddie is an iconic Australian bird, with classic emu eyes – absolutely bonkers!

EDDIE THE EMU | Sandra Burns Art

I carefully constructed Eddie using many, many deliberate brush strokes. The abstract green background represents the Australian bush.

This artwork was such a joy to create. It embodies my deep connection to nature and my desire to bring nature inside the home.

πŸ’– This painting makes me smile, I hope it does that for you too.

βœ… Message me if you’d like to know more about this artwork (it’s available for purchase), or follow the link in my BIO.

πŸ‘€ I’m sharing more of my artworks all the time, so keep a look out.
