This is a block interpretation of my still life drawing THE GARDENER. This style is an interesting way of mixing up your artwork.
I remember the day we walked into art class and Mrs B had brought the garden bench to class!
Looking back now, the maidenhair fern isn’t too bad. But at the time, I wasn’t getting the result I wanted.
As we came to learn, our teacher lived across the road and it was easy for her to bring every day objects to class for us to draw or paint.
