This is a block interpretation of my still life drawing THE GARDENER. This style is an interesting way of mixing up your artwork.
I remember the day we walked into art class and Mrs B had brought the garden bench to class!
Taking inspiration from surrealist artists, such as Salvador Dali, our task was so create a completely different artwork.
As we came to learn, our teacher lived across the road and it was easy for her to bring every day objects to class for us to draw or paint.
The bleakness of waiting for a train on a cold and windy day. This watercolour painting is from my artwork archives.
