Drawn from real-life, my Weimaraner dog Brutus struck a pose for the sake of my art. Bless him! He allowed me to do a quick sketch, then moved on to other important doggo things.

Weimaraner Art

Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend, didn’t know a Weimaraner.

This drawing was created when I was sixteen, inspired by our family pet, Brutus. This Weimaraner art / drawing shows my beautiful Weimaraner, Brutus, with soulful eyes and silken ears, a girl’s best friend.

The idea behind this drawing was to capture the beauty of Weimaraners.

Weimaraners were originally bred in Germany’s Weimar region, and are known for their distinctive, silky, silver-grey coats. Known as the “grey ghost” because of their speed, stamina, ghostly coat and eye colour.

My favourite part of this Weimaraner art is the eye… and that classic Weimie look! 💖
