This mythical creatures art was inspired by a love of (and a fascination about) mythical ceatures, gnomes, elves and fairies. A delightful representation of the whimsical creatures and their quirky personalities.

What mythical creatures are real? They are all real, if you believe.

This artwork was created by first sketching the layout in pencil then marking the final version in ink pen. After erasing the pencil, I added bold colours using Indian Ink. Giving it time to dry, I then added shading and contours with Chinagraph (wax) pencil. I love the end result.

The elf symbolises magical powers and supernatural beauty. While gnomes are considered good luck symbols. And the fairy symbolises games, growth, and illusions. Dreams of mythical creatures can signify an imbalance in your waking life.

My favourite part of this painting is the green elf snuggled into the mushroom, like it’s a beanbag. 💖

Elves, gnomes and fairies are the best mythical creatures for kids (and for kids at heart).

I love mixing colours to achieve something inspirational. My greatest joy is when my art makes someone else happy.
