Video of “Gum Tree Tutus”

Take a look at this short video of my Australian gum tree flower painting and close-ups of the work. I love watching this.

What do you think?

This painting was inspired by the feeling of peace and tranquility of the Australian bush. I wanted to share the beauty of our gum trees, highlighting the beautiful gum tree flowers, as well as some leaves and bark. Can you see the dancing tutus?

Created using ink pen and Micador watercolour paints on 120gsm Derwent Academy artist’s paper.

I love the end result of this Australian gum tree flower painting – and I hope you do too.

I see the tutus! We don’t have these trees where I am ~ We have cherry blossom trees. The video is wonderful, Sandra, as is the artwork 🌿

    1. Thanks Christy. This type of eucalyptus is called Silver Princess and the bark turns white as it ages. It’s the same type as my other gum tree painting. I love cherry blossoms too. They’re so pretty.
