I painted in school but not for years. One was of a dolphin swimming in a wave so I appreciate how difficult it is to make it look realistic 😀 I remember flicking paint to try and recreate spray on the top of the wave. I’m sure I still have it tucked away somewhere.

I’m intrigued by your dolphin wave. You need to put it on your wall. I loved Art in high school. But then got a “proper job”. Finally found my way back to art and loving it.

I have a “proper job” now too, though its only 5 hr day, plus my market stall Saturday. I think thats why my creative outlet is photography, its generally less time consuming. Most of my paintings back then were dark bleak cold-war, nuclear winter themed but I liked surfing and sailing, so a few were happier. I’ll try and find some 🙂
