This artwork was a pressure test, where our subject moved through various yoga poses for 2 minutes each.

I chose to use a paintbrush with blue ink for the shape, followed by black conte crayon to add definition.

I have since learned that this knees-to-chest sitting position is also a comforter pose for children and adults with autism, where you hold this calming and comforting self-hug for a count of 10.
