Don’t you love bird photography? This beautiful Black Swan is a photo I took last year.
The river near me (the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia) is home to many birds and small animals, and is such a joy to visit.
The local council has been making many improvements to provide a wonderful home for local birdlife.
Do you like my swan?
I love the way the morning light settles on the swan’s back and on the ripples of water.
I’ve stored this photo away as inspiration for future artwork.

More often, I’m turning to my photography as inspiration for my art. It helps that I’ve always had a good eye for taking photographs. I get that from my Dad. 🙂
