This is “Eddie The Emu” and this short video shows how my painting came together.

I love Australian emus and I wanted to create something that shows off their personality. They are quirky and caring, inquisitive animals.

I wanted to capture the feeling when those beautiful eyes look at you… looking deep into your soul.

He is a caring creature, checking that you are doing okay. RUOK?  💖
