Sketchbook Project – Watercolour Yoga

Watercolour Yoga – we arrived at our high school art class to find our teacher wearing a leotard – a few giggles – then art!

A dog will not sit still for a pet portrait! But this one day, he decided to post for the sake of my art.

I will never throw out this old acrylic still life painting. It is too dear to me. But maybe it can inspire something new…

What starts as beautiful sunrise photography will, hopefully some day, become beautiful sunrise art.

These mythical creatures were great fun to create! There is a child-like joy in creating a fantasy drawing. 🙂

This is a block interpretation of my still life drawing THE GARDENER. This style is an interesting way of mixing up your artwork.

I’ve used this photo of the pelican as a source for my artwork a few times already, and there will be more. 🙂

I remember the day we walked into art class and Mrs B had brought the garden bench to class!

Taking inspiration from surrealist artists, such as Salvador Dali, our task was so create a completely different artwork.

Looking back now, the maidenhair fern isn’t too bad. But at the time, I wasn’t getting the result I wanted.
